On December 16, 2024, BVRTSE hosted a highly impactful Higher Secondary Orientation session led by Mr. Dhaval Mehta, the CEO and head guidance counsellor at Globestar TNI Career Counselling. The event brought together students and parents to discuss crucial aspects of preparing for higher secondary education, particularly focusing on the opportunities offered through the Cambridge AS & A Level curriculum.

The session began with an overview of Grade 11 subject choices and the advantages of pursuing the globally recognized AS and A Level subjects. Mr. Mehta emphasized how these courses not only prepare students for academic success but also foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for excelling in a competitive global environment.

The core highlight of the session was the detail-packed exploration of profile building—a vital component for students aspiring to gain admission to top universities worldwide. Mr. Mehta shared practical tips and strategies for creating well-rounded profiles that showcase students’ achievements, extracurricular activities, and unique skills. He also shed light on the importance of standardized exams such as the SAT, PSAT, TOEFL, and IELTS, explaining how these assessments can significantly enhance applications to international universities.

Adding an inspiring touch to the session, Akshat and Arushi, alumni of BVRTSE, shared their personal journeys of securing admission to FLAME University. Their stories resonated with the audience, demonstrating the tangible outcomes of early planning, effective profile building, and strategic preparation. Their experiences served as a motivating example for current students to pursue their goals.

The orientation concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where parents and students voiced their concerns and sought guidance on academic and career planning. Mr. Mehta addressed their queries thoughtfully, ensuring that attendees left with a clearer understanding of how to navigate the path ahead.

Conclusion
The BVRTSE Cambridge AS & A Level Orientation and Profile Building Session was a resounding success, equipping students and parents with essential tools and knowledge for future academic and career achievements. By highlighting the importance of structured preparation, global education opportunities, and personal development, the session reaffirmed the role of Globestar TNI Career Counselling in guiding students toward fulfilling their potential.
