What is the format ?

IELTS Exam is divided into four parts -

Listening:

This component evaluates your comprehension of ideas, ability to discern opinions, and capacity to track the progression of an argument.

Reading

Writing

What is the scoring system

The IELTS exam uses a 9-band scoring system, with 9 being the highest and 1 the lowest. Each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) is scored individually and then averaged for an overall band score. The scores correspond to levels of English proficiency, ranging from non-user (band score 1) to expert (band score 9).
